Ser Pastor está catalogado dentro de las cuatro profesiones más difíciles que existen, debido a que un Pastor debe ser:
Predicador
•Ejemplo
•Padre
•Esposo
•Consejero
•Conferencista
•Planificador
•Ministro
•Visionario
•Director
•Mentor
•Amigo
•Reconciliador
•Consejero de matrimonios
•Consejero de Jóvenes
•Formador de líderes
•Maestro de la Biblia
•Intercesor, etc, etc.
Además de ser:
•Portero del templo
•Chofer de los hnos
•Personal de limpieza
Todo Pastor enfrenta constantemente
Críticas tales como:
El Pastor no me visita
El sermón no me llena
El Culto es muy largo
Los hijos del Pastor no son un ejemplo según los demás.
Una de las cosas más difíciles qué hay en la vida de un Pastor es saber que en algún momento las personas que ellos aman lo abandonarán o incluso lo traicionarán. El Pastor muchas veces es la persona más solitaria de la congregación. Usted puede ver a un Pastor estar rodeado de gente, pero muy pocas veces de gente que estén interesados en sus problemas, necesidades o aún en sus vidas. Y no digamos las exigencias que las congregaciones ponen sobre los hijos de los Pastores. Por esto quisiera darte un consejo: si tú tienes un Pastor o tienes como amigos a hijos de Pastores cuídalos, ora por ellos, conéctate con visión que Dios les dio, respáldalos, pero sobre todo ámalos. Recuerda que son humanos y de igual manera pasan por las mismas necesidades que tu. Aunque no lo creas, muchos de ellos han sacrificado comodidades, descanso, planes personales y tantas cosas incluyendo algunas de las necesidades de su propia familia por atender el llamado de Dios.Valora el tiempo que un Pastor dedica en la obra, las oraciones que él hace por todos, la carga que lleva voluntariamente por el ministerio. No sabes cuánto el valoraría saber que lo haces
